Using the Summary Panel (1)
The Summary Panel has two tabs:
1. Summary Tab: This displays the important amounts and values.
2. Edit Summary Tab: This can be used to adjust or reset that values displayed on the Summary Tab.
Summary Tab:
The following fields are present on the Summary Tab:
Total: This field displays the total amount that the trader has in the account. This is calculated based on the initial value entered and the win/loss amount from the trades. This can be adjusted using the “Add Cash” and “Remove Cash” fields in the “Edit Summary” tab.
Portfolio Amount: This is the amount of all the open positions as indicated in the Open Trades column. This can be adjusted using the “Portfolio Amount” field in the “Edit Summary” tab.
Trades: This is the total number of trades that have been completed. Only the closed positions are taken into account.
Win Amount: This is an amount field indicating the total amount of wins to date. This value is used in calculating the “Expectancy”. This can be adjusted using the “Reset Wins/Losses” button in the “Edit Summary” tab.
Loss Amount: This is an amount field indicating the total amount of wins to date. This value is used in calculating the “Expectancy”. This can be adjusted using the “Reset Wins/Losses” button in the “Edit Summary” tab. Once this is reset, expectancy will be calculated from that point forward. It cannot be reversed to account for all the trades.
Expectancy: This is a calculated field that displays the amount that the trader can expect to win. This is calculated using the probability of win, average wins, probability of loss and average loss from the traders’ history. This can be adjusted using the “Reset Expectancy” button or the “Reset Win/Loss” button. Once this is reset, expectancy will be calculated from that point forward. It cannot be reversed to account for all the trades.
Edit Summary Tab:
Add Cash: Enter the amount you would like to add without the dollar symbol in the field and click “Add” button to add the amount to the “Total Amount”.
Remove Cash: Enter the amount you would like to remove without the dollar symbol in the field and click “Remove” button to remove the amount from the “Total Amount”.
Portfolio Amount: This field has been removed.
Reset Wins/Loss: This will reset the “Win Amount” and “Loss Amount” to zero. Resetting this value will also reset the Expectancy field in the Summary tab. Once this is reset, expectancy will be calculated from that point forward. It cannot be reversed to account for all the trades.
Reset Expectancy: This will reset the Expectancy field in the Summary tab. Once this is reset, expectancy will be calculated from that point forward. It cannot be reversed to account for all the trades.
